French & Indian War era 1750’s – 1760’s officer and gentleman felt cocked hat,
Hats are custom-made: felt cocked hat with linen liner, cocking loops, silk ribbon cockade, brass or silver cockade button, and mohair, gold or silver lace cockade loop. Hat body in black (military), brown, or gray (civilian) fur felt. Round blocked to size. Hand sewn. Adjustable linen lining. Measure the head around just above the ears and not too tight.
